Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) takes a holistic approach, often requiring an interpersonal dialogue between the doctor and patient to decode the body's signals and uncover the root of illnesses. The traditional gesture of a doctor placing fingers on the patient's pulse, much like entering a password, opens up an intimate understanding of the patient's body.

Through this project, I've captured overlooked corners and equipments within TCM clinics, bridging the gap between tradition and modernity. Simultaneously, I've focused on the interaction of traditional tools with various subjects, highlighting TCM's unique approach to pain as a positive force in healing. As I navigate the intersections of body, tools, and spaces, the aim is to question how modern medicinal principles permeate TCM, potentially reshaping the treatment-body relationship in its wake.
